Below you will find an age appropriate curriculum designed with a child's development in mind.

One Year Olds
Young toddlers need love and rely on responsible adults to care for them. Stimulation and interaction with young toddlers  will help them to thrive. It will also support their curiosity. Young toddlers in our program will gain security and trust through the care & comfort we will provide. Young toddlers are encouraged to explore & discover their surroundings. They will participate in storytelling & fingerplays, singing & dancing, as well as dramatic play. They will alos experiment with sand and water.  We will promote self-selected activities chosen by the child based on their curiosity and development.

Two Year Olds
Two year olds are not terrible! They are at a stage where they begin to notice and explore their environment. This is the time when they begin to use their language to express emotions, needs & wants. They go back and forth between wanting adults to assist them and being independent. Our two year olds will develop skills in physical development, creative expressions, cognitive skills, and language & literacy development.

Three Year Olds
Our preschoolers are encouraged to explore their environment through social skills, and interacting with others. Three year olds build self-esteem and confidence through activities like reading, dramatic play, art, music & movement, science, and even block play.

Four Year Olds
Four year olds are adventurors. They are bold, silly at times, but a lot of fun. They are pre-kindergartners with an interest in letters and sounds and numbers. However they are still not ready to sit for long periods of time. We will still encourage exploration and discovery. These pre-kindergartners will begin to create stories with pictures, identify own name in print, indentify upper & lower case alphabet, as well as identify numbers 1- 10.

Pre-Kindergarten
Our pre-k curriculum is geared towards kindergarten readiness. Qualifications and skills are becoming very strict for our young kindergartners. Our program will concentrate on reading and handwriting. Children will still take part in self-selected activities to encourage exploration and observation. Upon entering kindergarten children will have experienced skills in counting and number recogntion, letters and sounds identifying {upper & lower case} letters. We will do an activity monthly on shapes. Other skills explored will be science, geography, math, reading, songs & movement, art, culture, manners & respect for others, dining etiquette and self-awareness {clothing, lacing shoes, motor development} physical development, cognitive development, social-emotional development, as well as language and proper speech.
